The Mutt Strut Presents: The Mighty Mutts Dog Show! Benefiting Animal Friends

Starts: 8:00 a.m. in Riverside Park, North Shore

Description: This annual favorite is REALLY going to the dogs, with exciting new revisions for 2007! If you're proud of your pup, don't miss the Mutt Strut, which kicks off with a 9:00am Pooch Promenade with lead walker Brett Keisel from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Stay for Mighty Mutts at 10am--the dog show for the everydog! Westminster's got nothing on us--all breeds, pure and mixed will strut their stuff for a panel of judges, including KDKA's Dave Crawley. Watch this space for your chance to register for the 1.5 mile Puppy Promenade, the first annual Mighty Mutts Dog Show, which includes categories for "Best Kisser," "Mutt-liest Mutt," and "Fastest Eater." The event will also feature pet photos, shopping for people and their pets, and of course, some of Animal Friends' adoptable residents looking for homes. The cost is $15 to walk and $5 to enter the dog show.
